IMPROVED QUALIFICATION AT AKDENIZ UNIVERSITY

A delegation of teachers from Al-Farabi KazNU visited one of the largest universities in Turkey - Akdeniz University, which is a famous educational center of the country.

More than 80 research centers, institutes and schools are located here on 50 hectares. During the meeting, Kazakh scientists were able to discuss the possibilities of cooperation, joint participation in international scientific and educational projects, invite Turkish students to study at KazNU. The participants of the parties outlined plans for the implementation of academic mobility. This university is especially famous for its unique medical faculty, which has its own hospital for 2000 beds, special equipment and laboratories, where scientific research is carried out in the field of gerontology, therapy, dentistry, health care, etc.

Particular attention is drawn to the campus area, which includes two huge football fields, a number of tennis courts, a stadium, a hospital, crop fields, areas for livestock and farming. A relatively young university is developing very rapidly and is open to cooperation and measurement of experience. Kazakh scientists also discussed the possibilities of implementing joint educational programs and projects.

Professor of medicine Mustafa Koban noted that KazNU is in many ways a role model in many scientific areas. “Kazakh National University has many developed scientific areas, and its position in the international ranking is especially impressive. Turkish professors are well acquainted with many publications of KazNU scientists, and it will be a great honor for us to take part in organizing joint research, ”Mustafa Koban said.
