SCIENTIST-WRITER TURSYN ZHURTBAY IS 70 YEARS OLD!

An event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 70th anniversary of the famous scientist and writer Tursyn Zhurtbai “Artist. Scientist. Teacher". Famous poets and writers, scientists, university teachers and students took part in it.

The meeting was opened by the famous scientist-teacher Omirkhan Abdimanuly, who revealed in his speech the main milestones in the life and creative path of the hero of the day. In his youth, Tursyn Zhurtybay plunged into the world of national literature, enthusiastically read the works of Abai and M. Auezov, works on pedagogy, scientific research and articles. He carried this love through his whole life, it was reflected in his original work.

Anar Salkynbai, Head of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics, KazNU named after Al-Farabi, read out a congratulatory letter from the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Kazakh National University named after S. Al-Farabi Zhanseit Tuimebayev, in which the merits of the scientist who made a significant contribution to the study of the history and culture of Kazakhstan were noted.

The participants of the meeting - director of the Association of Historians of Kazakhstan Mambet Koigeldiev, scientist-teacher, famous historian Talas Omarbekov, scientist-critic Dandai Yskak, scientist-alasheved Aigul Ismakova, poet Bauyrzhan Zhakyp and other famous figures - expressed their thoughts about the merits of his scientist and writer, about high citizenship, moral qualities and creativity.

The hero of the day, in turn, thanked the audience for the congratulations, shared his experiences in connection with the significant date, spoke about the joy of creativity, the main books in his life. He remembered his famous teachers - Tursynbek Kakishev, Kairzhan Behozhin, Zeinolla Kabdolov, Tauman Amandosov, who gave him deep knowledge and an example to follow. He called on young people to be loyal to their homeland and be able to sympathize with their people.

In the speakers' speeches, reviews were heard about poetry collections "Kokyr Kazak", "Zhuregimde - zhumyr zher", the first prose works "Besgarager" and "Aerodrom", as well as those imbued with lyrical mystery and deep meaning of the work: "Moldir kuz", "Blue Mir , “Shili uzen kamys-ai”, “butterfly under the snow”, “Fly, my childhood, fly to me”, “Carnation”, “Bir uys zhusan”, “Baiterek of the future”, “Tuyeshinin kyzy”. All works of the scientist and writer are distinguished by their style, artistic expressiveness and deep philosophy. Also, one of the first collections "Alash aқiyқtary", in which unknown works of the figures of Alash are presented, was especially noted.
