THE HOUR OF POETRY "VERSES OF INDEPENDENCE" HELD IN THE KAZNU
12/6/2021On the square, where the stele with the clock "Mangilik el" is installed, on the territory of Kazgugrad, an hour of poetry "Poems of Independence" was held for the first time. The cultural event was organized within the framework of the decade "Independence is the most precious thing."
The event was opened by the adviser to the rector of the university, writer-translator Malik Otarbayev, who congratulated everyone on the 30th anniversary of the country's independence.
Specially invited poets in the open air presented the audience with poetic creations about their native country, its endless expanses and riches. The famous poet Dauletbek Baitursynuly began his speech with the poem "Senin argak", a talented Kyrgyz girl Perizat Almasova dedicated poetic lines "Kazakhym" to the brotherly Kazakh people. She congratulated everyone on the great holiday of Independence of Kazakhstan and wished them happiness and prosperity. Rising to the podium, the poet Kairbek Shagyr read the poem "Umit".
University teacher, poet Bekzhan Ashirbayev noted in his speech that Independence is a talisman, stressing that special attention should be paid to the Constitution Day in the country. “There are no holidays more significant than Constitution Day and Independence Day. Let's look at their merits, analyze their value. Such events awaken patriotic feelings for their people, ”he said after reading the poem“ Love for the Motherland ”.
Continuing the event, poets: Alibek Shegebay, Yessey Zhenisuly, Sayat Kamshyger, Bauyrzhan Alikozha, Zhaksylyk Kazimuratuly, Asylan Tlegen, Nurbek Nurzhan expressed their love for their native country in their poems.
Talented authors, who gave inspiration to lovers of poetry, wished happiness and prosperity to the people of our independent country. They thanked the university, which gave them knowledge, and remembered the brightest years they spent here. In the poems of the poets, there was a call to youth - to strive for knowledge, a peaceful and dignified life, to appreciate the benefits and opportunities that our native land gave us.
At the end of the event, students of KazNU expressively read poetry, delighting the audience.
