THE WINNERS OF "ANA TILI ARUY" AND "ZHIGIT SULTANY" WON A TRIP TO DUBAI

The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the annual final gala concert of the competition "Ana tili aruy" and "Zhigit sultans" 2021. The event was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This year, 200 applications were submitted for participation in the competition not only from students of KazNU, but also from students of other universities, such as KazUIR & WL named after Abylai Khan, KazNAA named after T. Zhurgenov and KazNMU named after S. Asfendiyarov. Of these, 8 boys and 8 girls were selected, who fought for the titles "Zhigit sultans" and "Ana tili aruy" 2021.

The competition consisted of 4 separate stages. The first is a greeting. At it, the participant had to present and introduce himself. The second stage is a fashion show competition, in which girls took to the podium in lush and bright dresses, and boys in suits and tuxedos. The next one is an intellectual round, in which each participant must correctly answer questions regarding the customs and traditions of the Kazakh people. And the very last stage is a creative performance, where young men and women showed their talents in various types of art, such as vocals, choreography, poetry, prose, and acting.

The young people were assessed by well-known cultural figures, Kazakh pop stars, bloggers, heads of departments of KazNU.

Each number was bright, sonorous and extraordinarily spectacular. Participants performed high pitched songs, dizzying dances, theatrical monologues and stage performances. And the audience watched the performances with interest and actively supported their favorites.

The participants of the competition gave their best. By the decision of the jury, Daniyar Zhetpisov, a student of the T. Zhurgenov Academy of Arts, received the Grand Prix and won the title "Zhigit sultany - 2021". The title "Ana tili aruy - 2021" was awarded to Nursaule Amanzhan, a student of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of Al-Farabi KazNU. Two winners were awarded travel packages to Dubai from sponsors.

Also in the competition "Zhigit sultany - 2021" I place was taken by a student of the history faculty of KazNU Yernur Zhanbyrbaev, II place - a student of the faculty of general medicine of KazNMU named after S. Asfendiyarov Orynbasar Tanirbergenov, III place - a student of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of KazNU Sherkhan Turta. And in the competition "Ana tili aruy - 2021" I place was taken by a student of the Faculty of Journalism of KazNU Kuralay Kurman, II place - a student of the Faculty of Philology of KazNU Ganibet Yessetova, III place - a student of the Faculty of Chemical Technology of KazNU Gulmarzhan Galimova. The rest of the winners of the competition were awarded with diplomas in various nominations.

In addition, Jewelux, DANA NABI and JADO fashion houses sponsored and presented valuable gifts to the participants they liked.

"Ana tili aruy" and "Zhigit sultans" have become a traditional competition that is held annually. Each time there are more and more participants, valuable prizes and gifts and a large-scale final. It was for it that the participants were preparing for one month. The result surpassed all expectations and the talent competition "Ana tili aruy" and "Zhigit sultans" became one of the best events of the year for students.
