YOUTH LOOKING FOR NEW IDEAS

The department of "Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics" of Al-Farabi KazNU, using innovative technologies and the latest teaching methods aimed at developing students' creativity, research skills within the framework of the discipline "Legal foundations of combating corruption" held a competition among students of the first the University course for the best video on anti-corruption topics.

Along with the formation of an anti-corruption culture among students, one of the main goals of the competition is to search for new ideas, new ways to improve work to combat corruption, study positive examples of measures taken to combat corruption and communicate to the population of the country, as well as on the basis of researching the experience of foreign countries that have achieved the greatest result in the fight against corruption is to develop proposals for amending the system of measures for more effective counteraction.

In total, 10 groups or 210 first-year students of the University took part in the competition. In total, 17 works are presented, of which 6 of the most interesting and creative works have been selected, including 4 of a scientific and educational nature and 2 social videos. In their works, students raised topical issues in the field of combating corruption, and also offered interesting ideas on what else can be done to reduce it. So, in one of the works, it is proposed to use the social networks Instagram, Facebook and Tik-Tok in anti-corruption propaganda. We need to turn social networks into an educational tool for the formation of anti-corruption consciousness among the younger generation. In particular, it is here, according to the students, that information about corruption actions by officials can be posted, and it is these and similar networks that can be used as a tool to protect citizens who have suffered from corruption.

The winners of the competition in the number of 20 students were awarded with University diplomas in 6 nominations: "Best educational video", "Best informative video", "Best innovative video", "Best reflection of international experience in combating corruption", "Best script", " Best Artistic Production ".

The award ceremony was held during the scientific and practical conference dedicated to the International Day of Combating Corruption and dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Law, Professor Gulnara Useinova, scientific consultant of the Research Institute of Anti-Corruption Technologies, coordinator of the Republican Project Office SanalyUrpaq, head of the Adal kөmek "in the city of Aktobe held by the Department of" Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics "KazNU named after Al-Farabi, with the participation of representatives of government agencies, public figures, prominent scientists and researchers, as well as teachers and students of the University.
