President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev gave an interview to the national TV channel "Kazakhstan". This was an expected event.

In the interview, I am first of all impressed by what the President said about patriotism. And this is no coincidence. After all, every citizen should be a patriot of his country. But are we all of them today?

The topic of my Ph.D. thesis in Soviet times was devoted to the military-patriotic education of the youth of Kazakhstan. The topic of my doctoral dissertation is devoted to the history of patriotism in Kazakhstan in 1946-1991. In it, I considered the issues of Soviet, Kazakh and Kazakh patriotism. Naturally, the topic caused heated debate, and therefore seven years before the defense was discussed in scientific circles. Later, I received the title of professor of political science for my scientific work in the field of conflictology and patriotism. Therefore, I have always been interested in the statements of our first leaders.

I see a patriot of the country, Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich, who at a crucial moment took responsibility for the country. In these moments there can be no weakness, negotiations, answers to questions, appeals. Rigidly, clearly, promptly, disciplinedly, it was the operation to eliminate what had been that should have been carried out.

It turned out that some did not know this, and some pretended not to know what was happening. Some began to manipulate, while others wanted glory in the tragedy.

Now the President tirelessly answers questions: why, why, how. Yes, it needs to be done. And that openness of the Head of State, and the desire to explain, to give his answer, she really deserves respect. In the context of the information war, the President is open to the people of Kazakhstan, he hears and listens to his people.

Every day, law enforcement agencies began to speak, talking about the preliminary results of the investigation. We receive information from government agencies. Human rights defenders give us their information, and we see that they are admitted to pre-trial detention centers, they collect information in all legal ways, and no one interferes with them. Clearly, clearly, promptly they tell us and give their view of the events. Today it became clear to us that, indeed, we can and receive daily information from a variety of sources.

But, the President repeated in an interview that he is against lies, facts that do not correspond to reality. Law breakers need to be dealt with differently. We see that thorough investigations are being carried out. Everything will be made public.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also noted that educated, qualified, conscientious citizens should be leaders. We will be recognized in the world as a hardworking, conscientious nation. We must build New Kazakhstan.

This is our sacred homeland. Protecting the Motherland, taking care of the well-being of the people is the duty of every citizen. We must always remember this. Today is not only words, it is our life in the present and future!

Whether it’s good or not, time will tell, and the townspeople themselves should take on the improvement of the metropolis - indeed, during the pandemic, we forgot that we should go to subbotniks, not only hold rallies ...

An interview in the native language, on the Kazakh land, in the capital, when there is a conversation about the status of the Kazakh language and its typeface (romanization), wise folk proverbs are quoted - this is seen as extremely humanistic content, behind which the horizons of the upcoming evolution of the Kazakh society are also visible . After all, it is important not to stagnate, but to move forward and dream about what the country will be like in several generations ...

THE PRESIDENT ANSWERED THE QUESTIONS OF CONCERNING THE SOCIETY

In this interview, the President of the country, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, clearly emphasized the tragic January events. The head of state once again stressed that the events were large-scale and organized. At the same time, the President did not repeat his previous idea about a dangerous attack from outside.

Answering the journalist's questions, the President once again stressed that he had instructed the authorities to carefully separate people who participated in peaceful demonstrations from radicals and marauders who started pogroms and robbed shops, banks, and institutions. At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that the investigation must be conducted within the framework of the law, with respect for the rights of citizens, all cases of cruel treatment of persons under investigation must be stopped and punished. He named a number of commissions that are allowed to visit the pre-trial detention center, question those arrested, receive complaints, and so on. That is, thanks to the members of the data, the population receives information and follows the entire process of the investigation.

In his answers, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev explained that the introduction of the CSTO forces into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan was not a mistake, but a very timely action. Firstly, it sobered up the "third force" behind the radicals and provocateurs. Secondly, it freed up its own resources to carry out measures to restore law and order. And thirdly, it stopped the country on the dangerous path of sliding into chaos. At the same time, the Head of State emphasized in every possible way that the events were not the spontaneous nature of a spontaneous rebellion, but it was an attack on the constitutional system of Kazakhstan. He explained that the reason for the action of these forces was that they did not like the political reforms in Kazakhstan. They felt in them a threat to their interests, their capabilities, resources, their ability to influence the authorities and the political situation. In this regard, the President stressed that political reforms in the republic and measures to develop the social sphere would continue. This "diagnosis" formulated by the President is precise and targeted. It is aimed at a great perspective in terms of the fact that we all need to work and unite to create a new Kazakhstan. Already in the coming years, within the framework of a pilot project, free elections of akims of rural districts should be carried out. Developing this idea, answering a journalist's question, the President said that he had instructed the government to deal specifically with the issue of returning to the republic the funds illegally withdrawn abroad for thirty years. First, you need to analyze the situation, study the legislative sphere, and then begin this process. We are talking about colossal funds that would be enough to solve all the social problems of the people and not only. This is an acute issue that worries the whole society. The solution of this issue would put a barrier to the plunger of national resources in the future. There are precedents in the world, there are many of them. The corresponding services and structures of our republic should carefully study them.

CARING FOR YOUNGER GENERATION

The interview of Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, given to the national channel Qazaqstan on February 17, 2022, is permeated with a constructive analysis of modern realities and prospects for the further advancement of Kazakhstan, concerned for the well-being of its people. At the same time, the President emphasizes that a decent life at this stage depends on every citizen of the country. The President outlined the need to establish in society the idea of ​​diligence and respect for work. Therefore, we need not words, but deeds. It is especially necessary to convey this idea to young people. The ideology of diligence and knowledge should be actively promoted, avoiding dependency and laziness. This provision is relevant for teachers. Our contribution to the construction of a new Kazakhstan is to prevent manifestations of laziness among boys and girls in the learning process, to prepare them for honest and professional work.

One of the areas of application of knowledge and energy of young people is the civil service. The President stressed that a lot depends on good personnel. In this regard, K.-Zh.K. Tokayev singled out the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve, created on his initiative. Young people included in its composition receive responsible positions. Statistics show that 164 out of 300 reservists in 2019 were appointed to senior positions. In 2021, 50 people were enrolled in the reserve.

The President stressed that it is impossible to limit ourselves to representatives of the youth reserve, it is necessary to open the way for other people. But it is noteworthy that K.-Zh.K. Tokayev, at the beginning of his answer on personnel policy, first of all, turned to the Presidential Youth Reserve. Young people who choose this area of ​​their work, of course, must take into account that the requirements for civil servants are very high. Purposefulness, perseverance and time are needed to acquire the appropriate education and qualifications, to show oneself as conscientious and honest people, true patriots of one's country. The President noted that new people are gradually coming to the sphere of public administration. And it is very important that the youth personnel reserve has become an integral part of this process. Undoubtedly, the role of youth in society is associated with many other areas of Kazakhstan's development. This is convincingly evidenced by the words of the President K.-Zh.K.
