SENATORS MET WITH KAZNU STUDENTS

Deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beibit Isabaev, Akylbek Kurishbaev, Nurtore Zhusip visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and met with students.

The meeting was held in a free format on the topic "New political reforms: the role and contribution of youth."

During the working visit, the senators toured the campus of the higher educational institution, got acquainted with the activities and future plans of the university.

Welcoming the guests, the Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU Zhanseit Tuymebayev noted the significant role of youth in the implementation of large-scale political, economic and social reforms proposed by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

“Young people are the future of our country. Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed the government to actively engage in attracting young people to public administration. In one of his speeches, the President of the country said: "Youth is the main driving force of the upcoming reforms." The country's political reforms require considerable efforts. Purposeful, talented young people study at our university,” said the rector of the university.

The deputies spoke about the new political reforms voiced by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev in his Address to the people of Kazakhstan.

Member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Committee on Social and Cultural Development and Science Beibit Isabaev noted: “Competition is needed for any industry. This improves the quality of production and services. The initiatives voiced in the Address of the Head of State are very relevant. Specific tasks were set. A number of changes are planned to be made to the Constitution this year. In addition, the Parliament is provided with new opportunities. We must work together to create a new Kazakhstan,” Beibit Isabayev said.

Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Secretary of the Committee on Agrarian Issues, Nature Management and Rural Development Akylbek Kurishbaev emphasized that the initiatives announced in the Address will certainly be implemented, but for this the society must become more active.

“Unfortunately, now the population does not trust the government. We must win the trust of the people. If the citizens of Kazakhstan support the Government, positive changes will take place in our country. It is very important. In addition, for 30 years we have not paid sufficient attention to the development of education and science. Now the state allocates huge funds for the development of education from the budget - 1.6 trillion tenge. We must take this opportunity and work for the good and prosperity of the country,” said Akylbek Kurishbaev.

In turn, the Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Member of the Committee on Social and Cultural Development and Science Nurtore Zhusip expressed the opinion that the time has come for renewal and revival.

“Unfortunately, we have lost our spiritual world. We often imitate.

We should be proud that we were born on such a beautiful land as Kazakhstan and we are Kazakhs. We must honor our customs and traditions, especially the youth. It is necessary to instill in the minds of the younger generation love for the native land. Our spirit must be revived,” said Nurtore Jusip.
