THE 1st INTERNATIONAL FARABI FORUM IS COMPLETED
4/15/2022Al-Farabi KazNU hosted the closing ceremony of the 1st International Farabi Forum, at which the results of a large-scale event were summed up, and the winners of the competitions “The Best Young Scientist of KazNU” and innovative projects of student business incubators were awarded.
Within the framework of the I International Farabi Forum, three international scientific and practical conferences, two round tables, a scientific conference of students and young scientists "Farabi Alemi", as well as the traditional competitions "The Best Young Scientist of KazNU" and innovative projects of student business were held within the walls of the leading university of the country - incubators.
The forum brought together various areas, forms of scientific creativity of scientists and students. More than 6,000 scientists, students, undergraduates and young scientists took part in the work of conferences and competitions. Meetings were organized with prominent figures, politicians, lawyers, intellectual games, presentations, round tables, scientific debates, master classes, competitions, exhibitions, intellectual games, etc.
The participants of the solemn ceremony were able to get acquainted with the exhibition of innovative projects of student business incubators.
The solemn ceremony was opened by the Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuymebayev, thanking all participants for their active participation in the forum and wishing continuous creative improvement, new significant scientific results and discoveries.
“Carefully preserving and developing the best traditions of our university for further development for the benefit of Kazakhstan, the 1st International Farabi Forum has become a kind of symbol of university science,” the head of the university emphasized in his speech. “We will continue the policy of supporting and developing student science, developing international scientific and technical collaboration of young scientists and students in the framework of fundamental and applied research and technology commercialization.”
The university pays great attention to the realization of the scientific potential of young scientists. At the suggestion of the rector of the university Zhanseit Kanseytovich, 10% of the total grant funding for the research work of the university is allocated to involve students in research activities. The winners of the contest "The Best Young Scientist of KazNU", as well as innovative projects of student business incubators, were awarded diplomas and cash prizes by the head of the university.
For a great contribution to the development of friendly and trusting relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan, Adakhan Madumarov, Deputy Secretary General of the Integration Council of Turkic Speaking States, was awarded the Birlik gold medal. The statesman addressed the youth with parting words. “I am glad to meet with the staff of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, which is one of the 200 universities in the world. Talented youth study at KazNU. Today, getting acquainted with the best works of young scientists, we have witnessed the emergence of promising scientific research. For example, the Solar Pantry project, which presents alternative energy sources, is highly relevant for both Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Goat milk cheese is also essential for public health. In the era of globalization, whether we remain on the margins of civilization or find ourselves at the center of important events depends on the youth. I wish you the realization of your grandiose plans!”
The results of the international scientific and practical conferences held within the framework of the forum were summed up by the deans of the faculties: philosophy and political science - Bekzhan Meirbaev, medicine and health care - Zhanna Kalmataeva, history - Mendigul Nogaybaeva, geography and environmental management - Vitaly Salnikov.
As part of the event, the rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuymebayev presented the medal "Eren Enbegi Ushin" for his contribution to the development of science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University to the leading scientists of the university.
The 1st degree diploma and a cash prize in the amount of 150 thousand tenge were received by the authors of the best innovative student project, students of the Faculty of Physics and Technology Dinara Zhumalina and Kaldygul Karibaeva.
The event ended with a memorable photo session with the participation of the winners and prize-winners of the Farabi Forum.
