Lesson of Courage at the KazNU Museum

The military department of "Al-Farabi Kazakh National University" jointly with the University Museum held lesson of courage and recitation competition, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Traditionally on the eve of the two major holidays - Defender of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day - the military department and the university museum hold joint activities of military-patriotic orientation. This year, retired Colonels Kazbek Mamsurov and Raulan Muzdybaev, veterans of the Armed Forces, were invited to the Courage Lesson.

Retired Colonel Kazbek Vladimirovich Mamsurov, honoured veteran of the Armed Forces and member of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan, told students about the formation and construction of the army of independent Kazakhstan and the importance of the activities of the Assembly in strengthening the social stability of our state.

The event was conducted in a bright and dynamic form by the head of the museum, Ardak Dzhabykbayeva, and the head of the military-patriotic work of the military department, Elnara Beisetbayeva.

The students of the military department who participated in the Courage Lesson competed in recitation competitions, presentations and musical numbers, dedicated to the defenders of the Fatherland. Colonel Oleg Azhimov, head of the military department, presented certificates of appreciation to the winners of the competitions.

At the end of the Lesson of Courage, students of the military department presented gifts to honored veterans and expressed their deep appreciation for their selfless feat of arms.
