3 POLLING STATIONS ARE OPEN TO THE KAZNU

3 polling stations for voting in the republican referendum on amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan are working at Al Farabi Kazakh National University.

Polling stations No 568, 258, and 259 opened at 06:00 local time, an hour before the beginning of voting. Voting itself started at 07:00 and will end at 20:00 local time.

Mr. Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, was the first to cast his vote at polling station 259.

Then the head of the university visited and familiarised himself with the work of all polling stations located on the campus.

Employees and students of KazNU, as well as residents of the city actively participated in the voting.

It should be noted that at the 3 polling stations located in the territory of KazNU 1,333 citizens were registered to vote.
