HOW CAN FOREIGN APPLICANTS ENROLL AT KAZNU?

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University leads admissions of foreign applicants to bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs.

Submission of documents for study at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is carried out in online and offline formats. 

Online registration for Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral programs is open all year round. This is a great advantage, since it simplifies the application and significantly saves financial resources. After the registration stage, entrance exams follow, which are also available in online format.

The contract for studying at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is drawn up after checking the submitted documents and successfully passed interview. The contract is concluded for the entire period of training. The Order for Admission is issued after the conclusion of the contract and payment of the tuition fee.

For admission to the university, foreign citizens need to register on the portal kaznu.kz (https://univer.kaznu.kz/abiturient_user/register/11 ), having gained access to the online questionnaire in the "Online Registration" section of the personal account. The deadline for accepting applications is from May 15th to August 15th in the form of online registrations on the website. Next step is to attach required documents, fill out a questionnaire and choose a specialty. In addition, there is a need to provide the results of successfully passed state exams of applicant’s home country in JPEG format and pass an interview. After signing a contract with the university, the applicant is expected to pay the full amount of the tuition fee and including visa fee, as well as to cover the medical insurance.

Upon arrival in Kazakhstan, it is necessary within two days from the date of entry to visit KazNU’s Internationalization and Recruiting Office for further registration of arrival and provision of required documents.
