REVIEW OF THE WEEKLY ACTIVITY OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD - RECTOR OF AL-FARABI KAZAKH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY ZHANSEIT TUIMEBAYEV

The head of the university took part in the international technology forum "Digital Bridge", which was held in Astana with the participation of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Rector of the University Zhanseit Tuimebayev took part in the extraordinary XXIX conference of the Almaty city branch of the Amanat party. At the event, the party members confirmed their commitment and readiness to further implement the course of presidential reforms.

A regular meeting of the Academic Council was held under the leadership of the Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev. During the meeting, the head of the university heard a report on the results of the admission campaign and the organization of the educational process in the 2022-2023 academic year.

Zhanseit Tuimebayev took part in a leadership lecture by Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Oregon National Primate Research Center, Professor of the US Stem Cell Center Shukhrat Mitalipov on the topic "New technologies in modern embryology and genetics". The rector emphasized the merits of the scientist and stressed that holding such leadership lectures at the university gives students the opportunity to enjoy live communication and learn a lot of new information.

Rector took part in a festive event dedicated to the International Day of the Elderly and met with veterans of the university. Zhanseit Tuimebayev congratulated the elders on the holiday and presented 5 veterans with the medals "Yeren Yenbegi Ushin".

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with the Director of the TENMAK Proton Accelerator Center under the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey, Professor of Akdeniz University Ismail Boztosun. The parties discussed issues of further cooperation in the field of science and education, as well as prospects for the development of the nuclear and nuclear industry between Kazakhstan and Turkey.
