In addition, the head of the university thanked the international specialist for agreeing to hold two-week classes for KazNU students next year and offered to discuss in more detail the issues of mutually beneficial cooperation.

In turn, Professor Barnes spoke about the activities of his university. The Penn State Law is one of two separately accredited law schools of the University of Pennsylvania. According to the US News & World Report ranking, the college's foundation goes deep into history and ranks 60th among 194 Law Schools that are accredited by the American Bar Association. Stephen Barnes also expressed readiness to exchange experience in the field of academic mobility.

As a result of negotiations between the parties, an agreement was reached on free semester training for two KazNU students and discounts for young people who want to study on a paid basis.

After the meeting of the parties, Associate Dean of the Penn State Law Stephen Barnes gave a lecture for students and teaching of KazNU on the topic: "Principles of Separation of Powers in the US Constitution."

The professor first briefly dwelt on the prerequisites that took place in the country before the adoption of the US Constitution. “The issue of governance became the main topic after the American Revolution, and it took decades for the Constitution to be adopted by the entire community.”

The US Constitution today is based on the principle of "separation of powers": legislative power belongs to the Parliament, executive power belongs to the President, judicial power belongs to the Supreme Court. The powers of each of them are clearly defined. However, each of the US states has its own Constitution," the speaker said.

At the end of the meeting, the professor answered the students' questions and shared his experience.
