RESULTS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INDICATIVE PLAN WAS DISCUSSED

At the Academic Council of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the results of the implementation of the indicative plan by departments and faculties for the first half of the 2022-2023 academic year were announced. Gulsharat Mingazheva, Director of the Center for Strategic Development, told about this in detail. The results of the work of the Al-Farabi library and the republican contest "The Best University Instructor" in 2022 were also announced.

In her speech, Gulsharat Minazheva spoke about the main indicators of educational and methodological work at the faculty level. Nine indicators were indicated in the graph, six of which have positive results. Thus, the share of students studying in English at the university averaged 190%.

The historical and law faculties are in the lead. Such faculties as Law, Philosophy and Political Science, Biology and Biotechnology, Mechanics and Mathematics, Journalism have succeeded in this direction. In addition, information was provided on the share of international internships of teaching staff and existing double degree programs, which were developed jointly with foreign universities included in the top 300 QS WUR. KazNU professors often undergo foreign internships and advanced training, which has a positive effect on their research work, and this is reflected in many indicators. The speaker, noting the reputation assessment of KazNU, dwelled on the facts of an increase in the number of foreign students during the first semester.

In conclusion, instructions were given by the dean and heads of departments aimed to fulfill the planned values of the indicators of the plan for the 2022-2023 academic year.
