WE ARE FAITHFUL TO THE MILITARY OATH!

February 15^th is the day of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan,which is a memorable date for the Kazakh society. In the period from 1979 to 1989, over 22 thousand internationalist soldiers from Kazakhstan passed through the crucible of the Afghan war. On the eve of this memorable date, a patriotic action "To the Oath of Military Loyalty!" was held at the Military Department of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

During the patriotic action, lessons of courage were held with the participation of teachers of soldiers-internationalists – reserve Colonel Kozhakhmetov Khasen Koishygaraevich and retired lieutenant Colonel Alexander Nikolaevich Shashatsky.

Honored veterans talked about what they had to experience in that war. They endured all the hardships with dignity, showing military valor, courage and heroism, this was facilitated by the real military camaraderie shown by our soldiers and officers in the course of fulfilling their international duty.
