KAZNU ESTABLISHES COOPERATION WITH THE CONFERENCE ON INTERACTION AND CONFIDENCE BUILDING MEASURES IN ASIA

Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with Secretary General of the Council for Interaction and Confidence-building Measures in Asia (CICA) Kairat Sarybai. The sides exchanged views on the establishment of partnership.

 At the meeting, the head of the University Zhanseit Tuimebayev informed the guest of honor about the achievements of KazNU and future plans. In addition, rector voiced a proposal for establishing partnership.

"It is necessary to sign a memorandum of cooperation between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the CICA. In the framework of this cooperation, we will jointly hold conferences, meetings, round tables and international events in the future. Furthermore, students of KazNU will have the opportunity to take an internship at your esteemed organisation to improve their knowledge. KazNU has enough specialists in various industries. Therefore, we are ready to work together in all spheres" Zhanseit Tuimebayev announced.

"The scope of international cooperation of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is expanding from year to year. Students from many countries study at KazNU. In the future, together with foreign students of the educational institution, it will be possible to organize large-scale events for young people KazNU. We are also ready to help students with internships and publication of analytical articles, give leadership lectures and provide support" the Secretary General Kairat Sarybai stated.

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed on the systematic implementation of the proposals and exchanged memorable gifts.
