Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Altai Kulginov visited the Center for Process Innovations of the Kazakh National University and got acquainted with its activities.
The guests of honor were met by Director Amirkhan Temirbayev, who presented the work of the Center for Remote Sensing of the Earth.
First, Al-Farabi and Al-Farabi 2 nanosatellites created at the university were presented to Altai Kulginov. The ALFASAT designer for the development of space robotics and STEM education systems were also introduced.
Geo-products for various industries are constructed at the center on the basis of geoinformation systems and satellite images. This system is an indispensable tool for making significant changes in many sectors of the country's economy. For example, it can be used in the industries such as agriculture, construction, emergencies, ecology, environmental protection and cargo transportation. Such innovative products paves the way to competitiveness in the global market.
