DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN GETS ACQUAINTED WITH THE II STAGE OF CONSTRUCTION OF KAZNU

Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev told Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Altai Kulginov about the plans of the II stage of construction of KazNU, demonstrated projects of dormitories, academic buildings and office housing.

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, during his visit to the educational institution on June 1, 2022, supported the plan for the implementation of the second stage of the construction of the KazNU campus. According to the plan, educational and administrative buildings, housing for employees, an innovation center and a technopark, as well as dormitories for students will be built on the campus.

Currently, the area is in the process of preparation for the construction of dormitories. More than 24 thousand students study at the university, of which more than 12 thousand need dormitories. Therefore, the Students' House will become one of the largest projects in the history of the university and will completely solve the problem of lack of places in dormitories.

Having familiarized with the plan of the II-th stage of construction of KazNU, the Deputy Prime Minister wished success in the implementation of these initiatives.
