KAZNU CONDUCTS CAREER GUIDANCE IN MANGYSTAU REGION

Board member-Vice-Rector for Social Development of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Nurzhan Aidosov took part in the exhibition of higher education at the Yessenov University in Aktau.

1,500 students from Mangystau region and Aktau city took part in the exhibition, representatives of 41 universities presented their educational programs. Vice-Rector of KazNU Nurzhan Sarsynbekovich noted that last year, on behalf of the Head of State, additional educational grants were allocated to applicants of Atyrau and Mangystau regions in several areas of personnel training.

"KazNU has gained 110 grants for allocated educational programs, such as "Chemistry and Chemical Technologies", "Information Technology", "Mechanics and Mathematics", "Environment", "Cadastre and Land Management", "Biology and Biotechnology", "Physics". Our university also provides comprehensive social support for grant holders from the western regions of Kazakhstan," the Vice-rector of KazNU stated.

In addition, in order to participate in the competition of educational grants at the university for applicants from Atyrau and Mangystau regions for some groups of educational programs, the maximum UNT score was reduced to 65. The event was organized for the purpose of career guidance of graduates of schools of the Mangystau.
