An agreement on organization of Summer School on Sports Economics and Sports Management between the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Institute of Sports Science at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena was signed.

KazNU successfully cooperates with universities and organizations of the Federal Republic of Germany in various fields: 21 cooperation agreements have been signed within the framework of which various educational programs and scientific and innovative projects are successfully implemented.

As part of the academic mobility of students and teaching staff in the 2022/23 academic year there are 5 undergraduate students under the Erasmus+ program, 13 undergraduates, 16 doctoral students visited German universities. This academic year, 6 scientists from Germany visited KazNU. A number of joint international scientific and educational projects are being implemented at the Faculties of Geography and Environmental Management, Mechanics and Mathematics, Medicine and Healthcare.

In turn, President of the Univeristy of Applied Sciences Jena, Steffen Teichert, thanked for the warm welcome, noted that there was a great interest in strengthening cooperation, and he was pleased with the new joint initiative.
