KAZNU HOSTED A MEETING AND LECTURE WITH ASKAR AKAYEV

The first President of Kyrgyzstan, Honorary Professor of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, chief Researcher of the Research Mathematical Institute of Complex Systems of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Askar Akayev gave a leadership lecture on "Models for Predicting the Dynamics of the Development of the Brics Member States as the Foundations of a New World Order."


In the conference hall of KazNU, representatives of the management, faculty, scientists and students of the university gathered for the lecture. The Guest of honor was welcomed by the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev. He reminded the audience that a year ago Askar Akayevich Akayev gave a series of leadership lectures at the university for two days in a row. "Continuing a good tradition, Askar Akayevich specially came to meet with you," the head of the university stressed.


Academician Askar Akayev has formed his own scientific school of analysis and forecasting of political, economic and social problems in the world. He is a renowned specialist in the field of mathematical modeling of the dynamics of complex systems, awarded the Gusi Peace Prize, which is the Asian equivalent of the Nobel Peace Prize. In 2021, Professor Askar Akaevich was awarded the prestigious Lomonosov Prize of the 1st degree for "first-class scientific achievements in the field of mathematical modeling of the dynamics of complex systems".


Thanking for the warm welcome, Askar Akayev noted: "Today we see that Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is on the rise. We visited one of the laboratories where nanosatellites are manufactured. The digital age will require highly qualified specialists in the field of STEM education, and we were very pleased to be surprised that the foundations of the technological valley are being laid in the al-Farabi KazNU."


In his lecture, Askar Akayev spoke about BRICS, an interstate organization that in 2006 united 4 countries of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa was added to them. According to the speaker, BRICS currently is the most attractive international organization that many states want to join. It does not interfere in the internal affairs of countries, but supports their development on a democratic and exclusively equal basis. Kazakhstan is the leader in the Central Asian Muslim-Turkic civilization. BRICS will form the foundations of a multipolar world order in the future. "I believe that Kazakhstan is the most worthy candidate from Eurasia as the leader of the Central Asian, Turkic civilization in the future. I think that Kazakhstan is suitable in all its indicators in order to be part of a promising organization that carries the beginnings of a future multipolar world order," the lecturer stressed.
