Upon completion of this educational program, students are expected to be able to:
ON1 to organize scientific research in the field of applied museology and historical and cultural and natural heritage protection;
ON2 to develop projects in the main directions of museum activity and separate sections of drafts of regional programs of saving and using of cultural heritage, including – in the field of historical and cultural tourism;
ON3 to carry out historical and cultural, local history work, activities for saving, studying, promotion of cultural heritage in the organizations and cultural institutions, educations, government institutions;
ON4 to create the scientific concept and develop a documentation package, necessary for design of museum exposures and temporary exhibitions;
ON5 to work in the field of museum and pedagogical activity, prepare the methodical documents for all categories of museum audience;
ON6 to use modern information technologies when developing new historical and cultural projects and the organization of museum work;
ON7 to use the principles of museum management and organize a business activity in the museums and cultural institutions;
ON8 to put into practice skills of analytical and expert work in the field of museology, heritage protection and art criticism;
ON9 to organize work on completing of museum funds according to requirements of modern museology, carry out registration and curating activity in the museum and on objects of historical and cultural heritage;
ON10 to develop a monitoring system of a status of safety of museum objects, collections and historical and cultural monuments, to support necessary storage modes and to hold events for preservation and restoration of values;
ON11 to carry out work on identification, attribution and scientific certification of movable and immovable objects of historical and cultural heritage and objects of museum value (museum objects);
ON12 give an assessment to situations in different spheres of interpersonal, social and professional communication taking into account basic knowledge of sociology, political science, culturologists and psychology; operate with public, business, cultural, legal and ethical standards of the Kazakhstan society.
