1. Work with modern geodetic instruments, make geodetic measurements and surveys to provide data for land cadastral works;
2. Analyze the current state, identify problems and propose ways to improve land accounting and valuation and land registration using the experience of developed countries;
3. To prepare an annual analytical report on quantitative and qualitative indicators to determine the land fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its rational use;
4. To conduct geobotanical, soil and landscape, land reclamation studies to study the condition of farmland for their qualitative accounting, to investigate erosively dangerous and erosion-prone soils to increase the reliability of land cadastre data;
5. To keep records of land owners and land users, as well as other subjects of land relations for the purposes of state registration;
6. To register rights to land plots and other real estate objects, transactions and transactions with them; to issue land cadastral documents;
7. Perform works on soil valuation and land valuation (cadastral, market, for tax purposes, etc.) and perform land valuation and land registration actions in accordance with the existing legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
8. To carry out land monitoring to identify changes in the condition of lands, their assessment, forecast, prevention and elimination of the consequences of negative processes, development of recommendations;
9. To carry out state control over the use and protection of land to ensure compliance with land legislation for the purpose of rational use and protection of land;
10. Apply the technology of creating and manufacturing, as well as maintaining land cadastral maps, including digital ones, to maintain an automated information system of the state land cadastre;
11. Use the automated information system of the land cadastre using GIS technologies, update the database and improve the work of e-government, be competent in the information environment, be able to organize practical activities and make management decisions;
