QUALIFICATION
- First Stage of Higher Education - Bachelor of Natural Science
MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT
1. Analyze and summarize scientific and technical information, advanced domestic and foreign experience, results of experiments and observations, using modern methods and approaches to scientific research and development based on basic knowledge of natural sciences;
2. Interpret international standards, legislative and regulatory acts on environmental protection when carrying out economic and other activities related to the use of natural resources and environmental impact;
3. Monitor the state of the environment, organizing and carrying out systematic observations of the state of atmospheric air, precipitation, surface water, soil, bottom sediments, background radiation, hydrobiological observations in accordance with the observation plan;
4. Organize the implementation of a specific type of engineering and environmental surveys to control the technological regimes of environmental facilities based on knowledge of the geo-ecological study of the region;
5. TPlan a complex of field engineering and geoecological work, identifying tasks that can be solved by various engineering and geoecological methods;
6. Conduct a complex of engineering and environmental surveys, drawing up schedules for performing field work, providing communications with subordinates performing engineering and environmental research and keeping a field journal along the routes, using methods for processing the results of field observations and research;
7. Manage field and office work during engineering and environmental surveys and ensure safety measures for performers, using software used to process observations and research;
8. Prepare geological reports, analyzing, summarizing and assessing the geo-ecological knowledge of the work area using modern specialized software and regulatory legal acts in the field of subsoil use;
9. Analyze and systematize engineering-geological and modern processes, using the theoretical foundations of the natural sciences about the natural conditions of the territory;
10. Assess a section of the study area for the likelihood of hazardous technogenic geological processes based on interdisciplinary methods and analysis of the state of the natural environment, using the biogeography of the area;
11. Conduct a geo-ecological assessment of the potential of the field within the study area, using the basics of geoinformatics and scientific methods of geology, geomorphology, analyzing the actual state of environmental safety in the area of work;
12. Show leadership qualities, attentiveness, ethics and responsibility, self-organization, the ability to work in a team based on humanistic attitudes and national values, using legal frameworks and financial literacy to modernize public national consciousness.
