QUALIFICATION

MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT
As a result of given program undergraduates possess the following competencies:
ON1) to provide interpretation and translation of cultural, scientific, political, economic and religious-philosophical nature;
ON2) to prepare analytical reviews of relevant literature in the field of oriental studies, work with historical written monuments and sources of the Eastern countries;
ON3) to generate new knowledge about the economic processes of the East on the basis of acquired information and practice in the context of theoretical training, has the skills to assess the role of economic diplomacy in contemporary international relations;
ON4) capability for organizing and implementing the preparation and realisation of social and cultural projects and programs ensured by government bodies, public organizations, commercial structures that fulfill relations with the Eastern countries;
ON5) to classify the main modern oriental concepts to explain the phenomena and processes occurring in the Eastern countries;
ON6) to identify the specifics and features of the social and economic, political, cultural development of the Eastern countries;
ON7) to use knowledge of ethnographic, ethnolinguistic and ethno-psychological characteristics of the peoples of the East and their influence on the formation of business culture and etiquette;
ON8) to disseminate the basics of intercultural communication, basic concepts, tolerating social, ethnic, religious and cultural differences.
ON9) to systematize and compose standard diplomatic documents (memoranda, notes, memorials, official letters) in Eastern and Western languages;
ON10) to analyze the main philosophical and methodological problems, including those of an interdisciplinary nature, which are studied in science at the present stage of its development;
ON11) to analyze the methodology of historical development of Eastern countries, the main achievements and trends of modern oriental studies and practically apply the acquired skills in the analysis of modern historical processes;
ON12) To know the Eastern language of the studied country at sufficient levels necessary for professional skills, analysis of information and source material, free communication with representatives of commercial and non-commercial structures, work in the sphere of governmental, educational and translation services.
