QUALIFICATION
- Scientific and pedagogical direction - Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT
Upon completion of this educational program, doctoral students are expected to be able to:
1. ON1 Use scientific theories and concepts of the latest trends in modern international law in order to apply this knowledge in the activities of state bodies and international organizations to determine the position of the Republic of Kazakhstan on foreign policy issues, ensuring international security and protecting human rights.
2. ON2 Apply the basic principles of modern international law from the point of view of their strict observance in the activities of state, law enforcement, judicial, arbitration and other bodies to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of individuals and legal entities.
3. ON3 To conduct a critical analysis and assessment of new approaches and trends in international legal regulation of the participation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in various international organizations, foreign economic projects, and integration associations.
4. ON4 To issue qualified expert legal opinions on draft laws, international agreements of the Republic of Kazakhstan on compliance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international obligations and the national interests of our state.
5. ON5 To assemble a team of like-minded people and organize an effective working process both for scientific research and for the exercise of professional legal functions; form comfortable relationships with partners, management, subordinates and other people.
6. ON6 Predict and think at the tactical and strategic level, act in unusual situations, calculating risks and using the emerging opportunities for your organization and enterprise to ensure an effective end result in ensuring the rights of all participants in the relationship.
7. ON7 Conduct high-quality classes in higher education organizations using traditional, innovative, interactive, student-centered technologies and teaching methods of international law disciplines focused on the preparation of highly qualified bachelors in law, international relations and the global economy.
8. ON8 To build the trajectory of the research process on the topic of the thesis, defining its goals and objectives, to formulate the provisions for the defense, which can contribute to the development of international legal science.
9. ON9 To present the results of research work in the form of reports, reports, abstracts at scientific conferences, doctoral dissertations, research projects, publication of scientific articles in publications with high scientific rating both at the national and at the foreign level.
10. ON10 Evaluate the validity of various research methods in the field of international law.
11. ON11 Develop and implement research projects to create new knowledge of substantial applied importance to international law and the legal system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
12. ON12 To show initiative, responsibility and system skills necessary for successful employment in law-enforcement, law-making, management, research areas, matching their scientific interests with the needs of the state, the scientific community.
