MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

LO 1. Analyze the trends of modern oriental science, various theories, concepts and approaches, promising areas of research based on modern methodology, innovative methods of information processing.
LO 2. Use scientific material in your research using methods of analysis, synthesis, systematic and comparative approaches.
LO 3. Assess the prospects for the development of scientific trends, scientific research, scientific and methodological works using digital technologies and innovative pedagogical technologies in modern historiographical and retrospective methods of analysis.
LO 4 Conduct interdisciplinary research to obtain reliable scientific results, using appropriate methods and modern approaches.
LO 5. Conduct scientific and analytical reviews on various subject areas of Oriental studies based on interdisciplinary research in interpreting cultural, historical, linguistic discourses, as well as in understanding Eastern and other cultures and identities in the past and/or present.
LO 6. Assess the representativeness of various types of sources using source analysis and synthesis.
LO 7 Prepare scientific publications within the framework of research projects and programs in Oriental studies using modern innovative methodology, incl. in a foreign language with a high citation index.
LO 8 Develop methodological support in the humanities, textbooks, teaching aids, teaching aids using digital technologies.

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline is to develop the skills necessary for writing research and analytical texts in accordance with the rules established within the domestic and international scientific communities. Students will study: methods and features of the presentation of the results of scientific activity in the form of abstracts, articles, reports, as well as doctoral dissertations. The training course is aimed at studying and observing modern standards of organization, structuring and designing scientific publications on the Oriental Studies’ issues in academic journals of the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad.

Learning outcomes: to explore features of the dynamics of the historical and political process in East , to reveal the specifics of civilized approach to the West and the East on the basis of the study and search of national identity in the political culture of the East at the present stage

  • Description - Purpose : to form ideas about the methodology of oriental studies . To give a basis on the current state of source research for research.   • Description - The main purpose of "PhD thesis writing and defence": of a doctoral dissertation is the formation of the doctoral students' ability to disclose the content of research work for the defense of the thesis. During the study of course, doctoral student's should be competent in: 1. to substantiate the content of new scientifically grounded theoretical and experimental results that allow to solve a theoretical or applied problem or are a major achievement in the development of specific scientific directions; 2. explain the assessment of the completeness of the solutions to the tasks assigned, according to the specifics of the professional sphere of activity; 3. they can analyze alternative solutions for solving research and practical problems and assess the prospects for implementing these options; 4. apply the skills of writing scientific texts and presenting them in the form of scientific publications and presentations. 5. to plan and structure the scientific search, clearly highlight the research problem, develop a plan / program and methods for its study, formalize, in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Establishment, the scientific and qualification work in the form of a thesis for a scientific degree Doctor of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on specialty «8D07502 – Standardization and certification (by industry)». The training course is aimed at developing the methodological culture necessary for the organization and implementation of scientific research and pedagogical activities in the field of Oriental Studies.
