MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

ON1. Plan, develop, implement and coordinate the process of scientific research, taking into account the international ethics of scientific writing;
ON2. Apply methods of geoinformation design of complex territorial socio-economic, physical-geographical and political processes for spatial analysis and modeling using GIS.
ON3. Use project management models, analyze their effectiveness, take into account risks for adapting these models to specific geoinformation tasks;
ON4. Use innovative methods of processing geographic information using WEB-GIS;
ON5. Implement research activities based on statistical, mathematical, geoinformation, cartographic research methods;
ON6. Own methods of managing GIS projects, find organizational and managerial solutions and the willingness to take responsibility for them.
ON7. On the basis of analysis and processing of data of socio-demographic, economic, physical-geographical and geoecological indicators, propose mechanisms for improving the quality of life of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
ON8. Conduct scientific and practical assessment, analysis, monitoring, management and forecasting and visualization of geographical processes, using legislative and regulatory documents based on expeditionary research;
ON9. Use open, cloud and WEB-GIS during the implementation of projects and for the development of educational and methodological complex for geoinformation disciplines;
ON10. Apply various information systems and databases for the study of socio-demographic development;
ON11. Publish and present scientific results for stakeholders and the public, defend reasonably their scientific point of view in front of other scientists;
ON12. To carry out pedagogical and methodological work in the field of "Environment", using innovative methods of teaching geography in universities and in the areas of postgraduate education.

  • Description - The main purpose of "PhD thesis writing and defence": of a doctoral dissertation is the formation of the doctoral students' ability to disclose the content of research work for the defense of the thesis.
