QUALIFICATION

MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

1.Critically assess the prospects for the development of scientific trends in theoretical, practical and experimental developments of the archaeological science of Kazakhstan and neighboring territories on the basis of historiographic, historical, philosophical and interdisciplinary methods in the course of fundamental and applied scientific research;
2.To lead archaeological expeditions for the comprehensive study of archaeological sites, developing a program of step-by-step research of monuments, attracting specialists in natural science and related fields of humanitarian knowledge, as well as additional sources of funding;
3.To develop methodological approaches and techniques for the study of actual problems of archaeological science of the stone age, paleometal, early Iron Age, cultures of transition periods, nomadism, ancient and medieval urbanism, Turkology, ancient technologies, tracology of stone, bone, ceramic products, semiotics and semantics of objects of applied and monumental art;
4.To carry out scientific reconstruction of historical and cultural processes and phenomena, conceptual models of archaeological cultures and phenomena, to restore the original appearance of archaeological sites and complexes, using the categorical and conceptual apparatus, philosophical, historical and archaeological methods of scientific research, historiographic and bibliographic analysis;
5.Prepare and present the results of scientific research in the form of scientific publications with a high impact factor, sections in collective monographs, scientific and popular scientific publications on current problems of archaeological science in the field of ancient and medieval archeology of Kazakhstan, ancient technologies, semiotics and semantics of objects of applied and monumental art;
6.Participate in competitions (tenders, grants) to finance scientific activities, design and organize the effective use of material and financial resources, make informed decisions to improve the perTo conduct an expert examination of scientific projects and reports in the field of archaeology, to assess the level, prospects and effectiveness of planned / ongoing research in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the NCSTE and the KN of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of an in-depth problem understanding of scientific trends in the archaeological science of Kazakhstan and neighboring territories, historiographic analysis of the problem under study;formance of the entire group of researchers;
7.To conduct an expert examination of scientific projects and reports in the field of archaeology, to assess the level, prospects and effectiveness of planned / ongoing research in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the NCSTE and the KN of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of an in-depth problem understanding of scientific trends in the archaeological science of Kazakhstan and neighboring territories, historiographic analysis of the problem under study;
8.Implement the results of their own research in teaching activities, using modern information and multimedia tools and teaching methods, prepare educational and methodological recommendations, documentation, provide social and pedagogical support to students in post-university education programs in educational activities and professional and personal development;
9.Advise authorities, monument protection bodies, administrative and political figures, economic structures, mass media, developing information support for historical and cultural, historical and local history, conservation, restoration, urban planning aspects in the subjec

The discipline involves: to evaluate the development of ancient technologies and technological processes; to develop a methodology for the study of ancient technologies; to conduct a scientific reconstruction of ancient production; to prepare scientific publications, to develop analytical and informational reviews about ancient technologies (ceramic, bone, house-building, stone, etc.).

  • Description - Aim to form the ability to analyze the theoretical and practical aspects of the genesis of weapons and military affairs in ancient Kazakhstan. The discipline involves: analyze the source base on the types of weapons of the ancient population; reconstruct the offensive, defensive strategy, tactics of combat; prepare scientific publications, develop analytical and informational reviews on the types of weapons, strategies and tactics of combat in ancient times.

  • Description - The main purpose of "PhD thesis writing and defence": of a doctoral dissertation is the formation of the doctoral students' ability to disclose the content of research work for the defense of the thesis. During the study of course, doctoral student's should be competent in: 1. to substantiate the content of new scientifically grounded theoretical and experimental results that allow to solve a theoretical or applied problem or are a major achievement in the development of specific scientific directions; 2. explain the assessment of the completeness of the solutions to the tasks assigned, according to the specifics of the professional sphere of activity; 3. they can analyze alternative solutions for solving research and practical problems and assess the prospects for implementing these options; 4. apply the skills of writing scientific texts and presenting them in the form of scientific publications and presentations. 5. to plan and structure the scientific search, clearly highlight the research problem, develop a plan / program and methods for its study, formalize, in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Establishment, the scientific and qualification work in the form of a thesis for a scientific degree Doctor of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on specialty «8D07502 – Standardization and certification (by industry)». The discipline involves: to assess the level of development of research on the phenomenon of the sacred in the Turkic culture; to reconstruct the mythopoetic structures in the ethno-linguistic functions, cultural codes, and sacred interactions of the Turkic culture; to prepare analytical reviews on the sacred archetypes of the semiosphere of the Kazakh culture; to participate in the work of international Turkic research teams.
