  • Description - The purpose of the discipline is to develop practical skills in the doctoral students to develop theoretical and mathematical models and methods of calculating various modern devices of biophysical and medical use on the basis of understanding the principles of setting and solving the reverse and incorrect problems of physics for medicine. Summary:models of physical processes in medicine; problems of tomography, thermoacoustics and photoacoustics; construction and identification of mathematical models of physiology, biology and medicine based on experimental data; theoretical research and implementation of the obtained models (uniqueness and stability of solutions) in the educational process, construction of numerical algorithms for solving problems, as well as methods of regularization of coefficient inverse problems and problems of determining sources arising in medicine.

  • Description - The main purpose of "PhD thesis writing and defence": of a doctoral dissertation is the formation of the doctoral students' ability to disclose the content of research work for the defense of the thesis.
