MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

ON1: to develop and coordinate fundamental scientific research in order to carry out fundamental and applied scientific research based on modern theories and methods of analysis in the field of microbiology;
ON2: to carry out modern identification of microorganisms for fundamental and applied research used in medicine, veterinary medicine, agriculture, food industry;
ON3: to obtain new data in the field of microbial genetics based on methods of molecular hybridization of nucleic acids, bioinformatic processing using international databases, NGS sequencing;
ON4: develop strategies and research programs in the field of microbiology for government organizations, firms, enterprises, companies and institutes of biological, medical, environmental, veterinary and agricultural profile, using knowledge based on modern theories and molecular genetic methods of microbiological analysis in related fields of research;
ON5: to develop microbial preparations based on microbiological, molecular biological, immunological and biotechnological methods, to evaluate the practical value of multifunctional microbial preparations based on monitoring the effectiveness of application in various fields of applied microbiology;
ON6: to carry out registration and examination of legal documents of developments, scientific projects and research results, scientific articles, regulatory documents in the field of science and education, as well as scientific and methodological documentation for quality control and safety assessment of food, medical, veterinary and agricultural biological products based on critical thinking and practical understanding in areas of modern microbiological research;
ON7: to put into practice the results of scientific research in the field of microbiology, receiving certificates of implementation, conclusions, patents and publish them in publications with a high citation index, substantiate and defend their point of view in the scientific community at international scientific forums, conferences and seminars, participate in discussions;
ON8: to conduct training sessions in universities on the main educational programs of higher education in the field of biological sciences, using practice-oriented, innovative pedagogical technologies, digital educational resources, developing sets of methodological support for the discipline and textbooks.

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline: to develop practical skills of writing academic texts for doctoral students in order to present the results of their work in the form of reports, reviews, scientific reports and publications in rating publications indexed in Scopus that meet the criteria of non-predatory publications. Within the discipline, doctoral students improve their skills in analyzing and presenting of scientific information in various forms.

  • Description - The aim of the discipline: is to develop the ability to apply knowledge of microbial genetics and engineering, drawing on advances in molecular biology, microbial physiology, synthetic biology, systems biology, metabolomics, interactomics, fluxomics, proteomics and genomics. Within the framework of the discipline, genetic methods for constructing bacterial strains with desired properties, methods for constructing recombinant DNA that ensure the expression of cloned genes will be considered.

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline: to form ideas about the microbiological, molecular biological and genetic aspects of pathogenic microorganisms that cause infectious diseases. Microbiological and molecular characteristics of pathogenicity, immunogenicity of pathogens of infectious diseases, genetic regulation of pathogenicity factors, etiology and dynamics of the infectious process, epidemiological patterns of the pathogenesis of infectious diseases, modern methods of molecular diagnostics, immunoprophylaxis, gene therapy and chemotherapy of topical infectious diseases will be considered

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline: to form ideas about the interaction of microorganisms among themselves macroorganisms in communities. Will be considered molecular and physiological basis of interaction between microorganisms and macroorganisms, ecological significance of various types of relationships between living organisms, interaction of microorganisms with macroorganisms to create microbial consortiums, theoretical bases of growth, reproduction and differentiation of microorganisms in the community of living organisms.

Modern studies of microbial objects

Multifunctional microbiological preparations

Phototrophic microorganisms and biofuel

  • Description - The purpose of the discipline: is to study the principles of microbiological production of renewable energy sources using phototrophic and heterotrophic microorganisms. During the development of the discipline will be considered principles of microbiological production of renewable energy sources with the help of microorganisms, methods of using microorganisms in biotechnological processes to solve environmental, energy and raw material problems.
