Description - The main purpose of "PhD thesis writing and defence": of a doctoral dissertation is the formation of the doctoral students' ability to disclose the content of research work for the defense of the thesis. During the study of course, doctoral student's should be competent in: 1. to substantiate the content of new scientifically grounded theoretical and experimental results that allow to solve a theoretical or applied problem or are a major achievement in the development of specific scientific directions; 2. explain the assessment of the completeness of the solutions to the tasks assigned, according to the specifics of the professional sphere of activity; 3. they can analyze alternative solutions for solving research and practical problems and assess the prospects for implementing these options; 4. apply the skills of writing scientific texts and presenting them in the form of scientific publications and presentations. 5. to plan and structure the scientific search, clearly highlight the research problem, develop a plan / program and methods for its study, formalize, in accordance with the requirements of the State Educational Establishment, the scientific and qualification work in the form of a thesis for a scientific degree Doctor of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on specialty «8D07502 – Standardization and certification (by industry)». Description - The purpose of the discipline is to form the ability to analyze the essence of Islam from the standpoint of historical objectivity and modern methodological approaches, evaluate the fundamental works of Islamic theologians and scholars from the stand-point of traditional Kazakh society. Upon completion of the study of the discipline, the doctoral student is able to: 1. evaluate the fundamental work of Islamic theologians and scholars from the standpoint of modern realities; 2. organize and manage the work of coordination structures and carry out representative and intermediary functions in various fields of professional activity; 3. to identify the degree and nature of the influence of religious and religious-ethical teachings on the formation and function-ing of socio-political institutions in the countries of the region of specialization; 4. work with the basic principles and methods of conducting research on Islam and in research projects. 5. evaluate the fundamental work of Islamic theologians and scholars from the standpoint of a traditional Kazakh society; 6. critically interpret the extensive source study of basic, theoretical and classical materials; 7. develop teaching materials, give lecture courses and conduct seminars on Islam; 8 to process scientific and source material, scientific articles, educational and methodological programs and work in research projects in the field of religious studies. In case of a study of discipline the following aspects are considered: religious traditions in historical and cultural space of Kazakhstan; entity of the Hanafi methodology and ideology and its influence on religious consciousness of Kazakhs; the main sources of Islam, ideological bases and the fundamental principles of Islam of Sunni sense within interpretation of the Hanafi madhhab; a ratio of Islam and traditions within Sunni Islam of Hanafi sense; phenomenon of universality and inclusivity, peculiar to spiritual heritage and religious traditions of Kazakhs; the status of the woman in traditional Kazakh society.

Islamophobia and Stereotypes on Religious Matters

Description - The course "Islamophobia and stereotypes on religious grounds" studies theoretical and analytical and religious studies of the phenomenon of Islamophobia and socio-psychological stereotypes on religious grounds on the basis of analysis of special literature, as well as foreign (Western, Turkish, Arab, Russian) and Kazakh media. At the end of mastering the discipline, a doctor PhD capable: 1. design and implement comprehensive research, including interdisciplinary research, based on a holistic system of scientific worldview in the study of the Islamic faith and Islamic conceptual doctrines; 2. critically identify stereotypical approaches to the study of Islam; 3. to analyze the contexts of the emergence of Islamophobia, problems and issues of Islamic discourse in the study of the phenomenon of Islamophobia; 4. to use hermeneutical approaches and methods of Islamic comparative studies in the analysis of texts; 5. to evaluate the fundamental works of Islamic theologians and scholars from the standpoint of modern realities; 6. organize and manage the work of coordination structures and perform representative and intermediary functions in various areas of professional activity; 7. to identify the degree and nature of the influence of religious and religious-ethical teachings on the formation and func-tioning of socio-political institutions in the countries of the region of specialization; 8. work with the basic principles and methods of conducting scientific research in Islam and in research projects. Develop the ability of doctoral students to process, annotate, create, and analyze complex phenomena and trends in political and religious life. In case of a study of discipline the following aspects are considered: Islamophobia and stereotypes in religious space of Kazakhstan; entity of Islamophobia and ideology of its origin; influence of Islamophobia on religious consciousness; Islam source mains; ideological bases and the fundamental principles of Islam of Sunni sense within interpretation of hanaftisky madhhab; a ratio of Islam and traditions within Sunni Islam of hanafitsky sense; key distinctions between outlook of Islam of "hanafitsky sense", "political Islam" and religious liberalism.

Description - The purpose of the course is formation of the ability to critically analyze the methodological principles of formation, formation of the main types, meanings of cult practice, the content, structure, and features of the religious teaching of new religious movements of our time. Upon successful completion of this course, the doctoral candidate is able to: 1. to identify, from the standpoint of modern religious studies, the characteristics of the doctrinal and other features of a particular type of new religious formations, their place in the life of Kazakhstan society, the acquisition of experience in analyzing the extent, forms, and methods of spreading new religious movements among various segments of the population, including youth. 2. restore the causes, history, organization, creeds and activities of new 3. religious movements in the modern world, both in the West and in Kazakhstan; 4. explain the state-legal regulation of the activities of new religious movements; 5. review the content and main ideas of the original text texts on new religious movements; 6. review and develop methodological recommendations for predicting expected changes in religious behavior, consciousness and communication of the peoples of Kazakhstan and Central Asia; 7. synthesize a set of research methods for various features of the teachings of new religious movements; 8. critically analyze and evaluate the methodological principles and the main types and meanings of religious practice, the content, structure and features of the religious beliefs of NSD, synthesize their ideas on their basis and interpret the results in the form of a scientific report or report. Description - Purpose of the discipline to form the ability to engage in historical-logical, hermeneutical and comparative analysis in the study of the phenomenon of religious tradition and religious consciousness. As a result of studying the discipline, the doctoral student is able to: 1. monitor methodological techniques in the study of the phenomenon of tradition, traditionalism, as well as Dialogic construction of the modern cultural paradigm of Kazakhstan, based on the interaction of tradition and modernity; 2. systematize extensive source research base, theoretical and classical material; 3. analyze the problems and issues of ontology of religious traditions and their significance in the formation of tolerant religious consciousness; 4. apply the fundamental works of turkologists, Islamic scholars, religious scholars from the position of modern methodological installations; 5. process scientific source material, scientific articles, educational and methodological programs; 6. design educational and methodological documentation for academic disciplines in accordance with the profile of training; 7. to reveal the place and meaning of language and symbol in the epistemological model of religious consciousness; 8. to investigate the state of modern religious consciousness and reveal the influence of manipulative technologies on it. The course is aimed at developing a modern scientific and philosophical worldview and methodology of consciousness, which has an important ideological significance for the development of science and culture, as well as to improve the theoretical level of teaching the course in higher education institutions. When studying discipline the following aspects are considered: teoretiko-methodological base and categorial conceptual framework of theological disciplines; historical, spiritual and sociocultural value of religious traditions in cultural space of Kazakhstan; the main historical sources revealing ontologic presence of religious and spiritual traditions; a phenomenon of religious tradition and religious consciousness in Kazakhstan; potential of Turkic and Islamic tradition in formation of a cultural and religious landscape of Kazakhstan.

Description - The aim of the course is to study the Hanafi madhhab and its role in the development of the tolerant religious consciousness of Kazakhstan society. At the end of mastering the discipline, a doctor PhD capable: - design and implementation of integrated studies based on the integrity of a systemic scientific worldview in the study of Islamic religion and Islamic conceptual doctrines; - critically identify stereotypical approaches to the study of Islam; - to analyze the main paradigmatic contexts of the Hanafi madhhab; - use hermeneutic approaches and methods of Islamic comparative studies in the analysis of texts; - to process scientific and source material, scientific articles, educational and methodological programs; - to possess an extensive source study of basic, theoretical and classical material; - to give lectures and host seminar classes; - to be able to work in research projects in the field of religious studies, synthesize new ideas and interpret the results in the form of a scientific report or report. When studying discipline the following aspects are considered: The Hanafi madhhab in historical and political contexts; Sources of law used by the teachings of Hanafiyah: Quran, Sunnah, Ijma of the Prophet's Companions, individual opinions of the Prophet's Companions, ciias (deduction by analogy), istihsan (preference), urf (local custom); Foreign experience of the study of the Hanafi madhhab and its significance for the objective reconstruction of Islam; The works of Abu Hanifah and their historical significance; Perception and assessment of the Hanafi madhhab in Kazakhstan; The possibility of Islam of the Hanafi madhhab for the solidarity of Muslims and the strengthening of interfaith harmony.

Description - The purpose of the discipline is to form the ability to critically analyze complex ideas about the influence of various religions on the development of the modern world order, the role of the religious factor in modern international relations, and to devel-op the most acceptable management decisions. Upon successful completion of this module, the doctoral student is able to: 1. interpret the main methodological approaches and conceptual research programs in the field of ensuring human rights to freedom of conscience and religion, to free ethno-cultural development and national expression; 2. use the features of religious consciousness to negotiate and develop the most acceptable management decisions; 3.use knowledge of the basics of diplomatic and business protocol and etiquette and sustainable skills to put them into practice; 4. appeal to the provisions of world religions for conducting interfaith, inter-ethnic dialogue and developing a consensus regime; 5. analyze tolerance as a cultural orientation, an attitude of a person who lives in peace and harmony; 6. promote programs of constructive interaction with religious organizations and counteract religious and political extremism; 7. to implement the skills of dialogue, correspondence, negotiations in a foreign language in the framework of the level of tasks; 8. present the results obtained in the form of a scientific report, article based on scientific assessment and forecasting of reli-gious trends and their differences. When studying the discipline, the following aspects are considered: the foundations of religious traditions of countries and regions of the world, classification of religions, models of interaction between different types of religions and political systems. basic principles of state and religious policy implementation; The religious and cultural heritage of the peoples of Kazakhstan, state-religious relations based on the principles of a secular state and freedom of conscience.
