MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

Upon completion of this educational program, master students are expected to be able to:
1. generalize knowledge of common theoretical and experimental principles and methods in the field of ecology for solving problems of the protection of water resources and other components of the environment;
2. systematize and interpret scientific theories and concepts of new directions in the field of environmental protection for use in the educational process;
3. streamline the processing of environmental information using computer technology to create algorithms for environmental measures;
4. assess the impact of harmful and dangerous factors of production and the environment on human health and environmental risks to ensure production safety;
5. estimate the permissible values of emissions, discharges and contamination levels of the components of the environment, as well as the permissible values of the extraction of natural resources to meet production needs;
6. conduct interdisciplinary research to solve specific problems of environmental protection to achieve sustainable development goals;
7. rank and work with all participants in the chain: research - forecast - technological process - marketing - production - use - utilization for effective management of natural-economic systems;
8. develop programs for effective management of natural resources and stabilization of the environment;
9. predict the state of water resources in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia to ensure sustainable water use and consumption;
10. apply new technologies for purifying natural and industrial waters to improve the quality of life of the population;
