QUALIFICATION

MODEL OF GRADUATING STUDENT

Upon completion of this educational program, it is expected that master students will be able to:
1. To critically assess the problems, approaches and trends reflecting the current state of the regulatory framework governing the sphere of international business in order to apply relevant conclusions in the work of government bodies, ministries, organizations promoting and protecting the economic interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the international arena.
2. Qualified to apply the norms of international agreements and laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the international commercial activities of enterprises; prevent offenses in this area; provide professional consulting, representation services to individuals and companies engaged in foreign economic activity.
3. Conduct legal review of draft regulations, international agreements governing international economic relations, commercial contracts in order to determine their compliance with the principles of international law, the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
4. Use a foreign language at a high professional level to analyze, summarize and systematize legal and scientific information; as a means of conducting diplomatic negotiations; to represent and defend the interests of the country in international judicial, arbitration and other bodies.
5. Assess the internal mechanisms and regulatory framework of corporate governance governing relations between shareholders, the Board of Directors and other interested parties in terms of management psychology and labor law.
6. Analyze and evaluate the processes of international politics and economics in terms of their influence on the development of international markets, the development of an international legal framework that ensures international economic security and the interests of states.
7. Analyze and evaluate the complex external political processes taking place in the international arena from the point of view of the possibility of resolving these problems through international law to ensure peace and security, respect for human rights and freedoms.
8. Formulate problems and tasks of scientific research; determine the stage of master's research, carry out normative and bibliographic search for scientific material in accordance with the chosen methodology and the use of information computer technologies.
9. Designing for educational and research purposes in the form of preparation of a scientific article, abstract, report at a conference, scientific analytical report on topical issues of international law.
10. It is reasoned to present the results and conclusions of scientific research, to conduct a scientific discussion in the process of presenting scientific work or protection, including in a foreign language.
11. Use traditional and innovative technologies of teaching international legal disciplines, independently develop plans and methods for conducting various types of studies in the international legal field, including educational work.
12. To realize the social significance of the legal profession in the field of international business based on the analysis of the ideological and social processes taking place in society; constantly develop their professional level; make independent decisions.

During the study of course, master degree students should be competent in: 1. to name the theoretical foundations of regional integration processes; 2. explain the logic of global processes and the development of the world system of international relations in their relationship with the economy, history and law; 3. analyze and discuss on the problems and prospects of the development of the law of integration; 4. apply knowledge and understand the theoretical foundations of regional integration processes; 5. assess the prospects for the development of regional integration processes. During the study of the discipline master degree students will learn following aspects: The course examines the economic integration of states under the influence of objective processes occurring in the world community. The concept of integration as a legal phenomenon is analyzed, supranational legal regimes in different integration associations are compared, the stages of the integration process are considered depending on the specific economic maturity of the integration processes between the participating countries.
