The course is designed to provide undergraduates with knowledge of the ideas and heritage of indigenous cultures, as well as the content and forms of preservation, the translation of the cultural heritage of indigenous peoples. In studying the discipline, the following aspects will be considered: Classification of indigenous peoples, their languages, anthropological composition, economic and cultural types; Theories of anthropogenesis, the theory of ethnos, features of the material and spiritual culture of the peoples of the world; Myths and religious beliefs of the Saks, Sarmatians, Scythians; Cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples inhabiting the territory of Kazakhstan; The main values of the steppe civilization; Ancient Turkic civilizations and achievements.
