  • Description - The goal of the discipline is to design digital circuits using Verilog and implement your design on an FPGA board. During the study of this course, students will learn how to design digital circuits and blocks on FPGAs, learn the Verilog hardware description language and describe the operation of combinational and sequential circuits on it, implement UART, SPI, I2C and VGA interfaces for digital control of peripheral devices, and also test them work on simulation and debugging tools in the Vivado software package. On the basis of theoretical calculations and knowledge, they design, simulate and analyze antenna models of modern wireless communication technologies using computer simulators and programs, and also create appropriate prototypes that are tested using RF and microwave measuring instruments and complexes.
