About the program
Training a competitive, qualified urologist-andrologist capable of providing urological and andrological care to the population of all age groups effectively and timely, based on the application and development of advanced innovative, informational, and communication technologies.

Upon completion of this program, it is expected that residents will be able to
1. Integrate clinical knowledge and skills for effective diagnosis, surgical and non-surgical treatment, and management of urological (andrological) diseases in adults and children, and improving patients' health based on evidence-based practice, critical evaluation of new information, and application of evidence-based medicine principles at all levels of medical care.
2. Provide highly specialized medical care in the field of public health in accordance with current clinical treatment protocols, considering the standard of urological and andrological care, applying surgical interventions, and assessing the effectiveness and safety of treatment methods and tools.
3. Effectively use communication skills to establish positive and trusting relationships with patients and their families (or legal representatives) during the process of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases, including emergencies, performing diagnostic procedures, and initiating appropriate interventions.
4. Collect, interpret, analyze, evaluate, and prioritize relevant data to formulate a diagnosis and disease management plan, including initiating and independently performing surgical interventions for various urological and andrological diseases.
5. Apply knowledge of the basic principles of human behavior and patient psychology for effective communication and management of the therapeutic and diagnostic process, adhering to the principles of ethics and deontology, demonstrating teamwork with other healthcare professionals.
6. Timely and effectively provide specialized and highly specialized medical care in emergency and life-threatening conditions arising in the provision of urological and andrological care, including emergencies, natural and man-made disasters, pandemics.
7. Apply legal knowledge in the field of health protection, the protection of the rights of the doctor and patient, guided by normative legal acts determining the activities of organizations and medical workers in the field of reproductive health protection.
8. Use modern informational, digital technologies, and health information systems to solve professional tasks, maintain medical documentation to improve the efficiency and ensure the safety and quality of urological care.
9. Conduct specific and non-specific prevention activities, sanitary educational work, and promoting a healthy lifestyle to strengthen the health of children and adults and population health as a whole.
10. Adhere to the highest standards of professional responsibility and integrity, focusing on personal growth and lifelong learning.
11. Analyze and critically evaluate professional literature, formulate research questions, effectively use international databases in their daily activities, participate in scientific research aimed at advancing knowledge in the field of human health and improving the quality of life.
