About the program
Training a competitive, qualified radiologist capable of effectively and timely performing visual diagnostics for various pathologies in children and adults in accordance with the principles of evidence-based medicine and the application of modern medical technologies. Generating new knowledge in the field of healthcare to improve medical care.

Upon completion of this program, it is expected that residents will be able to
1. Integrate knowledge and skills for effective conduct of radiological studies and interpretation of their results, conduct differential diagnosis based on the application of evidence-based medicine principles at all levels of medical care to achieve optimal results for the patient.
2. Conduct high-tech research in visual diagnostics, considering standards and evidence-based practices in medical care and a personalized approach to solving patient problems.
3. Use modern informational, digital, and innovative technologies in visual diagnostics, including AI capabilities, and health information systems to solve professional tasks, enhance their effectiveness in ensuring the safety and quality of medical care.
4. Effectively use communication skills to establish positive and trusting relationships with patients and their families (or legal representatives) during the diagnostic procedures for diseases, initiating appropriate interventions, including in emergencies, screening studies for risk groups.
5. Apply knowledge of the basic principles of human behavior and patient psychology for effective communication and management of the diagnostic process, adhering to the principles of ethics and deontology, demonstrating teamwork with other healthcare professionals.
6. Timely and effectively provide specialized and highly specialized medical care in emergency and life-threatening conditions, including emergencies, natural and man-made disasters, pandemics.
7. Evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the applied diagnostic studies based on the application of knowledge on radiation safety, diagnostic rationality, measures to protect the rights of the doctor and patient, guided by the normative legal acts determining the activities of organizations and medical workers in the field of health protection.
8. Adhere to the highest standards of professional responsibility and integrity, focusing on personal growth and lifelong learning.
9. Analyze and critically evaluate professional literature, formulate research questions, effectively use international databases in their daily activities.
10. Participate in scientific research aimed at advancing knowledge in human health and improving the quality of life.
