Events calendar

In accordance with the plan of organizational and educational measures to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, from January 20 to February 10 2020, a military-historical quiz was held at the military department of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with the teaching staff and with all students “Our history”.

In the period from January 15 to 30 2020, students of the military department of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, excellent students of Zhailkanov Aruzhan and Toyеkin Yelshat in accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the National Cadet Corps of the Republic of India took part in the youth program cooperation between Kazakhstan and India and the events dedicated to the Day of the Republic of India, organized on the basis of the military sports camp of the National Cadet Corps of India in the city of Delhi.

In December, 11, 2019 in the military department of the Kazakh national university of the name of al-farabi the solemn measure sanctified to the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan Day is conducted.

As part of the military-patriotic work with school youth and the quality training of future military journalists studying at the military department of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, students of the military department visited the Arystan Lyceum on November 27, 2019, which is one of the best specialized secondary schools in our country. 

In according with Memorandum about cooperation between Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi and National Centre “Bobek”, teaching staff and students of military department of KazNU named after al-Farabi have been actively conducting military-patriotic work with students of the gymnasium “Self-knowledge” of the Scientific Center “Bobek” for several years.

29 of october 2019 on the eve of national holidays 175 years anniversary of the great Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayev on the military department Kazakh national university Al-Farabi with students  at the military department and with students of the Almaty Electromechanical College held a musical and literary evening "Great Abai."
