Extraordinary presidential elections of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be held on November 20, 2022. Due to the topical issue in the society, a round table entitled "Fair Kazakhstan-choice of youth" was held at the Department of Chinese Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. 

On October 3, 2022, a invited professor of the Department of the Far East of the Al-Farabi KazNU Lee Byong Jo took part in the International Symposium, held at the National Library of Kazakhstan in Almaty. 

On November 4, 2022, Su Jiaying, a 2nd-year graduate student of the Department of Chinese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, gave a scientific seminar on "Peculiarities of translation of diplomatic texts".

Nabizhan Mukamethanuly, professor of the Department of Chinese Studies, director of the Center for the Study of Modern China, gave an interview to the IRD news channel of the Faculty of International Relations on YouTube.  

On November 2, 2022, Mukatay Klara, a first-year doctoral student majoring in Foreign Philology from the Department of Chinese Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, gave an academic seminar entitled "The Social Significance of Chinese Internet Vocabulary Research".

Today, November 3, 2022, a meeting with representatives of Center Career was held at the Faculty of International Relations, organized by the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

On November 2, 2022, the Department of the Far East, with the support of the Education Center at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, organized a meeting of Consul General Park Necheon with students of the Department of the Far East of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and students at Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages of Abylaykhana.
