On October 21, 2022, a meeting of the Council of Employers was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The meeting took place online. The meeting was attended by the leadership of the faculty, heads of departments, coordinators of educational programs and representatives of employers' organizations.

On October 19, 2022, the library of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a presentation of the book "Kazakhstan-China: Three Decades of Good-Neighborliness and Mutually Beneficial Cooperation", prepared by the team of authors of Kazakh and Chinese diplomats and scientists in three languages (Kazakh, Chinese and Russian).
