The Gandhi Jayati event dedicated to the memory of Mahatma Gandhi was held in the M. Gandhi Park in Almaty

On September 30, 2022, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies N.B.Em and Head of the Department of Chinese Studies E.A.Kerimbaev met with representatives of "One Belt - One Road" Scientific Research Institute. 

On September 30, 2022, the head of the Department of Chinese Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Kerimbaev E.A. held a meeting with the staff and students of the 148th gymnasium school located in the Zhetysu district, the Kulager microdistrict of Almaty.  Kerimbaev E.A.  

October 2, 2022 in the M. Gandhi Park (Almaty), at 9:00 am, will be held the memorial day of Mahatma Gandhi, the leader of the Indian independence movement, a public figure, the founder of the non-violence movement.

he State Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China, presented the international photo exhibition "WORLD HERITAGE OBJECTS OF CHINA" to the audience on September 29, 2022, dedicated to the National Day of the People's Republic of China.

Within the framework of the research project, the Research Center "Written Monuments and Spiritual Heritage" of the Department of the Turksoy, Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi KazNU invites scientists, researchers, teachers and doctoral students to take part in the international scientific and practical conference "STEPPE MEDICINE: DATA, HISTORY, APPLICATIONS, CONCEPTS AND TERMS " which will be held on October 4-5, 2022.

On September 27, 2022, according to the department's plan, the first scientific seminar of this academic year was held at the Department of Chinese Studies with the title "Results of President Xi Jinping's visit to Kazakhstan".  

The invited professor of the Department of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Lee Byоng Jo published an article in the Haninsinmun newspaper related to the participation of the historical excursion program with students of Korean universities. 

From September 19 to September 22, 2022, the VI International Congress of Turkic Studies "Sciences of the Turkic World: Interdisciplinary Perspectives" was held at the University of Warsaw (Warsaw, Poland), organized by the faculties of Oriental Studies, Political Sciences and International Relations of the university.
