4/14/2018 The Chinese language "Chinese Bridge" contest

On April 14, a competition on the Chinese language 汉语 桥 - "The Chinese Bridge" was held between the universities of Almaty: al-Farabi KazNU, Abai KazNPU, KazUIR & WL, Ablai Khan University.

Time: 10: 00-12: 00

Venue: Department of Philosophy and Political Science, assembly hall
4/14/2018 Students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University became one of the best in the Competition of the National Tourism Organization of Korea in Almaty.

  The Department of the Far East a year ago initiated negotiations with the participation of the First Vice-Rector M. Burkitbayev, where an agreement was reached on cooperation with the University of Bunkyou Gakuin (Japan).

4/9/2018 Ambassador's hour with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Pakistan

On April 6, 2018, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Abdul Salih Khan, as well as the Second Secretary of the Representation of the Republic of Pakistan in Almaty, Mr. Basit Salim Shah and his assistant Manas Karibaev made their first visit to the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University at the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

On April 6, 2018 at the Chinese Studies Department of the Oriental Studies Faculty of al-Farabi KazNU the international trade company "枫叶国际级贸易有限公司" conducted a lecture for the students of the Department on the subject "Employers' requirements for graduates of universities, the duties of students as employees." The lecture was conducted by the representative of the Chinese company in Kazakhstan, Mr. Zharkyn Asan.
