Orientalists successfully passed the language training.

During the period from February 2017 to February 2018, students of the 4th year of the department of the Far East studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Kairakhmetov R. and Sagandykova K. successfully completed the internship at Busan University of Foreign Languages ​​(Busan, Republic of Korea). During the stay in the country of the studied language, the students significantly improved the level of the Korean language, as well as collected the necessary materials on the topics of the diploma research.

In addition, during the training in Korea, the students studied in depth the subjects related to their specialty - culture, history, economics, etc. According to the students, thanks to the one-year stay at the Busan University of Foreign Languages, it became easier for them to learn the traditions, customs and modern lifestyle of Koreans.

The period of the internship for Kairakhmetov R. became a great experience not only in the language improvement, but also in building of future career. Rustam took part in the translation of the documentary "Aesthetics of Russian Orthodoxy", which was an invaluable experience in the student's translation activities. Also Karina and Rustam took part in various competitions, where they duly represented the al-Farabi KazNU. During this period, students were able to get to know more closely the life of South Koreans, get acquainted with the peculiarities of mentality.

Since the signing of the agreement on the exchange of students in August 2008, between al-Farabi KazNU and Pusan ​​University of Foreign Languages ​​have passed 10 years. During this time, the relationship between universities has strengthened, and the number of students studying in exchange increases year by year.
