At the Department of Chinese Studies was held an event called "My language - my strength"

September 25, 2018 Chinese Studies Department of the Oriental Studies Faculty of KazNU organized a large event dedicated to the "Week of Languages" of Kazakhstan. The event consisted of two rounds.
In the first round 23 essays participated, the jury - the teachers of the department Abdurakyn N., Kerimbayev E., Madiev D,. Mukatai K. chose 12 essays for participation in the second round.
The winners of the final second round: 1st year students 1st place - Shamurat Bibizhamal, 2nd place - Nesipbekova Assel and Tortai Shugyla, 3d place - Mahmutova Aziza and 2-year student Mustafakyzy Karina. Also the senior adviser Sharipkazy Nurtalip was awarded with the nomination "curator of an active group", and in the category of "the best organizer" won Abyrakyn Nurkhalyk.
The event was held on September 25 at 16:20, in the 546 audience, the organizer of the evening was Abaryakyn Nurkhalyk. At the beginning of the evening, a greeting speech was delivered by the dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Paltore Y. He wished success to the participants of the competition and encouraged students to continue their good studies.
The main guest of the evening and the chairman of the jury was Kairat Duisen, president of the World Writers' Union. Head of the Chinese Studies Department Orazakynkyzy Farida made a closing speech and highly appreciated the writing skills of students. The winners were announced by the President of the World Writers' Union Kairat Duisen. The evening was continued by reading poems and singing songs as part of a small concert program.
