А meeting with the head of the Cultural Representation of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran

On September 26, the Persian branch of the Middle East and South Asia Department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of al-Farabi KazNU organized a meeting with the head of the Cultural Representation of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Masud Sheikhzeynadin, with students and faculty of the Faculty of History of KazNU.

During the meeting, the importance of historical and cultural ties between the two countries was pointed out, the historical monuments of the Kazakh people mentioned in the works of the great scholars in the Persian language were named.

The distinguished guest Masud Sheikhzeynadin also made a review of such valuable sources about the Kazakh people as "Tarihe Rashidi", "Mehmanamei Bohara".

At the end of the meeting, the Persian language textbooks and historical books were presented on behalf of the Cultural Representation of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the library fund of the library of the History Department.
