The meeting with the representatives of the business community of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

On October 12, 2018, Mr. Y.M.Paltore, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, held a friendly meeting with representatives of the business sector, Chief Executive Officer of Star Sports International, Mr. Habibullah Akhtar, President of MBA, Mr. Habib Pirzad, Marketing Director, Sarfaraz Hussain International Publishing House “Yellow Pages.
         During the meeting, scientific and innovative areas of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the general situation of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, plans for the future of the Urdu department of the Middle East and South Asia department were discussed.

        The dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Mr. Y.M.Paltore, said that the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is one of the developed and leading multidisciplinary higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan. At the end of the meeting, Pakistani guests met with the faculty of the Middle East and South Asia, visited the faculty museum, and also held a small round table with students of Indology who study Urdu and Hindi at the Mahatma Gandhi Center.

        The main purpose of the meeting is sponsorship by representatives of the business sector of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Almaty to study Urdu language, as well as joint activities for further cooperation in the field of education, science and culture.
