Methodical seminar was held at the department of the Middle East and South Asia

On October 23, a methodical seminar was held at the Iranian Studies Department of the Middle East and South Asia Department. This seminar was held for recruited teachers this academic year.

At the seminar, a characteristic of the current version of the EMCD was given. Special attention was paid to the syllabus. The SSW was also reviewed separately. Particular importance was attached to the correct design of the main documents of the educational and methodical complex.

The main recommendations were related to the choice of textbooks, in which it is necessary to include literature over the past 5 years and 5-6 basic textbooks. The expected results of the program should be based on Bloom's taxonomy, the percentage of points awarded for the SSW should be up to 50% of the total score. Another of the recommendations was the need for early preparation of practical materials for preparation and loading of exam questions into the system on schedule.

The seminar was useful for teachers of the Iranian Studies Department for the high-quality organization of the educational process.
