Meeting with Murat Avezov

The National Library of Kazakhstan invited the famous Sinologist Murat Avezov to conduct a conference on the theme of "China in my life". The first-year students and adviser Kunbay Zhuldyzay of the Department of Chinese Studies in the Faculty of Oriental Studies, attended the meeting as audience. During the meeting, Murat Avezov shared what he saw and heard during his life and work in China and answered questions from the audience.

In addition, some problems in the field of Chinese studies in Kazakhstan were discussed. A question was raised, criticism sounded. At the end of the meeting, representatives of Sinology and universities, who came to the conclusion that Chinese studies in Kazakhstan should be modernized, expressed their intention to cooperate in the future.
