“Transnational threats, problems of terrorism and security” Conference with diplomats of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

From 12 to 14 November 2018, a program was organized for diplomats of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation “Transnational threats, terrorism and security issues”. The program was conducted by the General Secretariat of the League and was held at the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by Head of the Department of Peace, Security and Conflict at the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, A. Musinov, Director General of the Asian Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, A. Bakaev and diplomatic officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, V. Ahsan. This program will have a good impact on the world of threats of terrorism and organized crime. Participants were briefed on the current security situation in the Near East, North Africa, Africa, Central Asia, South and Southeast Asia.
            The program was attended by teachers, students and undergraduates of the department of the Middle East and South Asia. Teachers participated as translators, and undergraduate students as volunteers.
